CY and Company, Ltd was founded in 2002 to provide consulting services and products in the Business Intelligence (BI) arena. The co-founders, Adrienne Chen-Young and Michael Chen-Young, have amassed extensive experience in this field over the past eight years at large Fortune 500 companies. They have played numerous roles in projects both large and small, consistently attaining accolades for their work.

Adrienne specializes in database design, data warehousing, and Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) procedures. Her recent data warehousing projects have involved building and supporting databases containing multilpe terabytes of data. Previous projects have involved database design and support for the SEC's EDGAR data repositories. Adrienne has a MSc and a BSc in Computer Science. She has been doing database development for over 8 years.

Michael specializes in BI applications customized for end-users that require both business and technical expertise. He also has extensive experience in developing custom financial and accounting software. His recent BI projects involved building and directing a custom dashboard on a J2EE platform that integrated the processing, reporting and analysis of information from multiple source systems. Michael has a PhD and MA in Economics, BA in Economics & Mathematics. He has been doing software development for over 5 years.

Together Adrienne and Michael offer end-to-end technical solutions to real business problems. Their technical expertise in the bottm tier data layer, middle tier application/business logic layer, middle tier OLAP aggregation layer, and top tier presentation layer allow them to leverage each tier to maximize the specific benefit to the customer. This technical expertise coupled with ther invaluable business experience creates a formidable team.
